This past weekend, we packed up and headed west to California, where Fools Errand took on the legendary Apple Valley Speedway—known to many of us as simply Grange. For those in the drift community, this track holds weight. It's not just a patch of pavement—it's a proving ground. Icons have laid rubber here, and this time, it was Fools Errand's turn to leave their mark.
The energy was high from the jump. Alongside a lineup of incredible drivers, the Fools brought the heat with aggressive driving, tight lines, and their signature style. There were, of course, the usual event hiccups—no true drift day is without its fair share of challenges. But what really stood out was the determination. No matter what came up, they didn’t let anything get in the way of the fun or the drive to push themselves harder.
As the day went on, the cars began collecting their own battle scars—scrapes, dents, and bruises from a track that demands everything from its drivers. But those marks weren’t signs of failure—they were proof of how far these guys were willing to go. Every lap was a push, every corner a test, and the Fools rose to it with grit. One downer? We were missing @fools.pockets out there. His presence was definitely missed, and I have no doubt he would’ve killed it and soaked up every moment of the weekend.
Despite the biting wind and cold temps, I managed to capture some truly raw moments—scenes that showcased not just performance, but the brotherhood and cohesion this team brings to every event.
Until next time, Apple Valley. We’ll be back—with more friends, more memories to make, and more driving!
